Basil Reid Thomas
Basil started his career with Standard Life in Edinburgh before moving into executive search where he spent two years developing the retail financial services and fund management divisions of a leading international search firm.
He joined Whitney Group in 1998 where he specialised in senior level money management and distribution assignments for many of the leading Global and European asset management and alternative investment firms prior to founding Valentine Thomas & Partners with Richard Valentine in 2004.
He has an M.A. from Glasgow University.
